Trans characters are rare enough, but I honestly don't know the stats on trans performers. The notable trans actors a Wikipedia search shows are in the UK and in Asia, and the only high-profile trans person in Hollywood who comes to my mind is Lana Wachowski, who transitioned at the height of the Wachowskis' success. I'm sure there are other folks out there, but dunno how successful or out they are. (The creative trans folks I know personally or in fandom tend more toward being writers, FWIW.)
