Some new folks coming here, so I figured I'd say hi. If you want to friend me, no need to ask -- go right ahead. Be warned I'm slow to add people to my friends list, so don't feel bad if I don't add you. (Also, I want to keep my friends list very small.) I don't reply to all comments, but they're always appreciated.

Content here is pretty much limited to fannish stuff -- stories and comments on fandom -- although I'm thinking of adding occasional pointers to underreported news stories. Also, some thoughts about writing probably will be cropping up.

Thanks...

One annoying thing about visiting Ma is the decrepit machine. So I must thank pandap for kind words here, because I can't post my thanks in comments.

(Eudoxia Diastrophe also had nice stuff to say, but I can post to comments there. Go figure.)r

I have an LJ. I guess this makes me officially... well, I don't know quite *what* it makes me officially, but I guess it makes me something.

YOU NEED A BOOK

A POEM EVERY DAY

The collected poems from my descent into madness year spent writing daily poems are now available from Lulu as the cheapest 330-page book they would let me make ($16.20). If that's too pricey, you can also get it from Lulu as a free download, or just click on the "a poem every day" tag to read them here. But if you did buy one, that'd be awesome.
